Dragon ball z  = ***** 5 stars (so beautiful  it makes me want to watch the series all over again)

Soul Eater      =  *       1 stars ( i just dont like the rhythm of it at times but awesome show)

Naruto          = ***/* 3 and a half stars (The song is ok to listen but it makes me want to flip around and jump on my bed when i hear it )

Fairy Tail        = ***** 5 stars (THE SONG IS AWESOME. Everytime i hear it i start jaming it to it like there's no tomorrow. The rhythm makes soul eater look like crap.)

why, in the name of the gods, would you use the HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE chopped up version of anything BS opening for Naruto/Bleach, and i'm sure the other's as i've not really cared to watched them, from the DUB VERSION!! thing about anime/manga, avoid the 'Official' American releases like the plague, if you can get a fan-sub/scanlation go for it, as fans know/care what they're doing and are less likely to screw something up, and WILL NOT censor their beloved... unlike 4kids or Viz (die Viz, just die -.- 'Rotation' my ass, it LITERALLY translates to 'Heavenly Spin' and that not only sounds cooler but has a better context for its purpose as the ultimate shield and the family's tie into taoism... cough) Funimation is about the only one 'not as bad' but still can be quite bad, especially if something's been marketed 'for kids'...

but yea, one of the WORST things they do is butcher the music, ESPECIALLY the opening and endings :/

question though, in the version you saw, does Naruto's Sexy no Jutsu wear a bathing suit... or anything really? cause its not supposed to -.-

i suffered through the dub of Naruto one late evening watching adult swim because for whatever reason they had it on... Naruto's 'Sexy no Jutsu' was wearing a bathing suit... IT DOES NOT!! f!Naruto is supposed to be completely naked... stupid censorship thingies...

same with the Naruto/Sasuke kiss, how the American version cuts that out complete then forgets to get rid of it during Naruto's 'remembering' of Sasuke when he 'dies with Haku... such bad work... i was honestly surprised to see Asuma smoking though, they usually cut that out too...

and they messed with the music some due to cutting out certain key instances for 'violence' i suppose... sigh... and the voices, i just could not stand the english VAs... well except Hinata and Kurenai's, Kurenai in english is voiced by the same woman that does Helba from DOThack and the Major from GITS, she's a great VA, kinda surprised they only used her for Kurenai instead of, i dunno, someone with my screen time :/ and Hinata was the same chick that did Nagato Yuki's voice and was on that impossible scale of so shy/cute its somehow sexy... which is just weird for her kid version, but HILARIOUS!! XD

XD im dying of laughter from that. Any who, i like the VA for naruto and goku they are unique and hard to imitate, but hinata's VA is soo easy to imitate, if you want him to SC can demonstrate it to you. The theme song contest was just to see which theme song you liked whether dub, sub, or nether idc, i only put links for those who want to see it quickly and fast without searching, and it makes the site look more better, in a way.

nope... Naruto in Sexy no Jutsu is naked, always, if you see it in a bathing suit its a censorship thing, they basically just paint it on, if you look closely you'll see it move weirdly beyond the actual animation...

and seriously, they screw with the music, they take out certain scenes because they're 'too violent', like Naruto stabbing himself in the hand, and it puts a damper on what the music was supposed to be adding to the emotion, it leaves it hanging and the mix is just weird...

and seriously? Naruto's english dub is attrocious... ugh... Goku's i like way more then the Japanese, he sounds the same as when he was a kid as an adult and that's just weird ._. and honestly i rather like certain dubs, there are good ones, but most, especially post 2000 stuff i've noticed the VA quality drop terribly... least in the english side, japanese VAs are just great at conveying emotion... i miss Freiza sounding like a woman, i caught an ep of Kai and he sounded like a dude, it was surreal for me...

but, ugh, back on topic of the opening/endings, *shutters* the american ones are just so bad... not only are they only like 30seconds but they're just so choppy and completely WTF?! having nothing to do with anything, a terrible way to introduce something in my opinion...

But all male main characters have awesome VA in my opinion like if you watch fairy tail "Natsu" awesome voice no one can imitate that... Its so unusual and my favorite VA although its a girl blackstar's voice (if you dont know of him look it up please) its the best voice ever
